THANK YOU ALL!

After a slow start, the party really picked up and became a success. There was a bunch of great food brought in and everyone seemed to end the night fat and happy!

Everyone that joined us last night deserves a great big THANK YOU from TRAIN. Those that purchased items in the bake sale and auction deserve an extra THANK YOU! The money you spent will mean a lot to children that don't often have much to be thankful for.

I would like to mention a few people that helped make this event a success:

Dave "Norwood" Baughman - Dave came in and immediately volunteered to help out. He took over working the door and with help from family and friends, spent the night working for TRAIN and the kids.

Suzy Nutley - Suzy volunteered to take charge of the bake sale. With the help of Lisa, Warren, Ashley and others, Suzy spent the night in the back working hard.

Jenny "Cinnamon" Taylor - Jenny spent a LOT of time organizing the event. Last minute changes in the band, auction items, and many, many other duties. Despite the last minute running around, it all looked smooth as glass to the rest of us.

Local Alienz - The band came in at the last minute and played for FREE. They knew where the money was going and wanted to help out. Besides entertaining us, they also let us use their sound system for our announcements and the auction.

Charlie's Throttle Stop - Once again, Charlie provided us with a place for one of our TRAIN events. Long before most of you were there, Charlie had his people downstairs helping with setup, getting electricity, getting the heated trays ready for food, and making sure we had a well stocked bar and servers for the night.

Santa "Dave" Claus - The jolly old elf himself made an appearance at the party! I've never been to the North Pole, but I would imagine that Santa is pretty busy this time of year. I would like to thank Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule and coming all this way to help us out.

I know I've forgotten many, many people that came together for this event. I apologize. You all deserve recognition for your efforts.
